Dr. William Coco of Greenville, NC has been awarded the prestigious Mastership Award given by the Academy of General Dentistry. Presented to those who complete more than 1,000 hours of coursework in 16 areas of dentistry , the award is representative of an individual committed to maintaining a state-of-the-art practice while offering the latest advancements in dental care and treatment to each patient.

Coco joins 2,200 other dentists throughout the world who have been given the Mastership Award for their willful dedication to continuing their education in dentistry.

A New York Regent Scholar, Coco earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry at the State University of New York at Oneonta and a Master’s Degree with honors in Organic Chemistry from North Carolina State University. In 1985, Coco received a Doctorate in General Dentistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill , where he was inducted into the Delta Sigma Delta National Honor Fraternity for Dentistry.

Following the completion of his education, Coco relocated to Greenville, NC, where he opened a dental practice in 1985. In addition to running a successful practice, Coco served East Carolina University as a Chemistry Professor from 1985-92.

In 2010, Coco will celebrate his 25^th year of providing dental care to residents of Greenville and the surrounding areas. Dr. Coco is a Greenville dentist located at 500 Red Banks Road specialized family dentist, root canals, teeth bleaching and comprehensive dental care. Coco offers treatments ranging from standard cleanings and maintenance procedures to advanced whitening systems, restorations and reconstructions.
